Business Cards

Just wanted to share my new business cards for Spice Weddings! I absolutely love how they turned out! I ordered these on TinyPrints where I get almost everything right now. This is just the digital copy, when they arrive I'll get a good snap of the pretty pearl sheen I added.

I know I know, my number is still Dallas. But after relocating, having a baby and then buying a house, life got in the way! I promise, it will become a 281, 713, 832 area code one of these days! And when that happens, I will update you! Cross my heart!

Till then, I will continue to promote my business and add my bridal tips to the blog!

Catch ya later!

Houston Bridal Show Extravaganza

OMG - Today was totally fun. I hopped in my car with M and got to meet a ton of vendors to help me build my rolodex. It was a blast. Even if I was mistaken for a Bride like 500 times, I got a kickstart at networking myself and Spice Weddings.

Many vendors were the same. But one that wowed me the most was this lady that creates memories with bridal bouquets after the wedding. She was so sweet. I hope to post about her again in my blog to promote her business. By far, the best idea for flowers after the big day. She's based out of Kansas and I think I even convinced her to open up her own Etsy Store. It was her first time in the show. She was just adorable.

I forgot how much I enjoy attending expos. I used to work in the trade show industry in Dallas. The Bridal Show Extravaganza is a two day event located at the George R. Brown in Downtown Houston. $15 cash to get in, but totally worth it if you are new bride looking for ideas and wedding freebies! (I even got my wedding bands shined for free!) Needless to say, I will be back at the next expo in Houston. Next time I will bring business cards...and maybe a lucky bride!

The Decision to Become a Wedding Planner

I've decided to become a wedding planner. This is a dream I had for over 10 years and I feel like I am at a point in my life that I can do whatever I want. I'm pretty good at event planning, organization and being OCD - so might as well make a career out of it! Am I right?

I'm calling it: Spice Weddings (does my brand look good?)

Let's not forget that I love everything about weddings. The experience, the venue, the food, the dress just do it all for me. Let me just say that Houston is my home and I find it to be the perfect city to start my own wedding planning business. I know this will make me happy, it's rewarding for me to be part of someone's special day, and this is my dream job.

I'm starting small, just with this blog for now. I hope in the next few months to launch something bigger once I gain more events & get published. For now, this is perfect for me. With your love and support, I know that Spice Weddings | Houston, Texas will become something big in the future.
